Prince and Princess of Wales share unseen highlights from 2025
The Prince and Princess of Wales have offered the public a rare glimpse into their year, releasing a collection of previously unseen photographs and moments that marked their work and family life throughout 2025.

Posting on social media, the couple described the images as “some unseen favourites from 2025”, guiding followers through a month by month snapshot of a year that blended remembrance, public duty and global diplomacy.
The timeline opened with a moment of quiet reflection in January, as the Prince and Princess lit candles at a London memorial service marking 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz Birkenau.

February saw the Princess meet women during a visit to HMP Styal in Cheshire, where she spoke with inmates about rehabilitation and support. In March, she attended the Irish Guards’ St Patrick’s Day Parade at Wellington Barracks, continuing a long standing association with the regiment.

April brought a more personal moment, with the Princess pictured using makeshift binoculars during a visit to the Isles of Mull and Iona, locations the couple first explored together privately as newlyweds more than two decades ago.
In May, the focus shifted to remembrance again, as the Prince of Wales and Prince George shared tea with an elderly veteran while marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
June was a milestone month for the Princess, who joined her husband, the King and The Princess Royal at Trooping the Colour. She had been absent from the parade the previous year while undergoing cancer treatment, making her return particularly significant.

July delivered one of the most high profile moments of the summer. The Princess presented Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner with the men’s singles trophy at Wimbledon, receiving a standing ovation as she entered the Royal Box ahead of the women’s final.
August’s highlight showed the Princess in a green outfit as she launched a series of animated films through the Royal Foundation’s Centre for Early Childhood, a project aimed at raising awareness of early years development.

In September, the couple were photographed walking towards Marine One as Donald Trump arrived in Windsor for his unprecedented second state visit to the UK.

October captured the Prince of Wales in full ceremonial dress crossing the courtyard at Windsor Castle to meet Alar Karis, following an earlier visit by the Prince to Estonia on the Nato front line.
November provided a lighter moment, with the Prince playing volleyball on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro ahead of the Earthshot Prize ceremony in Brazil. During the trip, he also addressed delegates at COP30.

The year concluded in December with a relaxed image of the Prince laughing with members of the Welsh Guard at their Christmas party at Combermere Barracks near Windsor Castle.
Together, the images paint a picture of a year that balanced recovery, continuity and an expanding international role for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
