Trump Turns on 5 Year MAGA Ally Marjorie Taylor Greene
Former President Donald Trump has withdrawn all support for Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, a vocal conservative who has been one of his most loyal allies but recently broke with him on several high, profile issues.

In a lengthy social media post running nearly 300 words, Trump claimed the Georgia representative had moved “far left” and urged Republican voters to replace her in next year’s midterm elections.
The public rift follows Greene’s criticism of Trump’s recent policy focus. She questioned whether he was still prioritising an America First agenda and took aim at his handling of foreign policy and the ongoing dispute over the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Greene accused Trump of attacking her in order to discourage other Republicans from supporting the release of those files.
“All I see Wacky Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!” Trump wrote on Friday night while travelling to his home in Florida.
He also claimed Greene turned on him after he suggested she should not run for governor or senator.
“She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore,” he said, adding, “I cannot take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day.”
Trump went on to say that voters in her district “are fed up with her and her antics” and that any suitable primary challenger would have his “Complete and Unyielding Support”.

Epstein files at the centre of growing Republican tensions
Trump has faced criticism from both parties over his handling of the US Department of Justice files linked to Epstein, the late financier and convicted paedophile.
Trump was socially connected to Epstein for years, but says they fell out in the early 2000s, ahead of Epstein’s first arrest. He has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

Greene is one of four House Republicans, alongside Nancy Mace, Lauren Boebert and Thomas Massie, who joined Democrats in signing a discharge petition demanding the release of the Epstein files.
Responding to Trump’s attack, Greene wrote on X that he was trying to intimidate Republicans ahead of next week’s vote.
“He is coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next week’s vote to release the Epstein files,” she posted. She added that it was “astonishing” how determined he appeared to be to prevent the files from being released.
Taylor Greene sharpens criticism of Trump on cost of living and foreign policy
In recent days, Greene has accused Trump of failing to reduce the cost of living for voters and has criticised his stance on major foreign conflicts and tariffs.
She has also continued to publicly challenge his response to the Epstein files, saying victims deserve transparency.
“I truly just stand with the women, and I think they deserve to be the ones that we are fighting for,” she told CBS News, the BBC’s US partner, on Friday.
